What I Pay
As a professional dealer, I typically pay approximately 50% of current market value.
Many people initially wonder why dealers don't pay full value. The answer is simple: after marketplace fees, payment processing fees, shipping supplies, advertising costs, taxes, travel expenses, storage, and the time required to clean, photograph, list, pack, and ship items, the difference often becomes much smaller than expected.
Selling directly to a dealer offers several advantages:

Shipping Your Collection
For comic books, magazines, and small toy collections, I strongly recommend using the Heavy Duty Small Moving Box available at Lowe's or Home Depot. These boxes measure approximately 16" x 12" x 12" and are extremely sturdy, making them ideal for shipping collectible items safely. They are inexpensive, readily available nationwide, and provide excellent protection during transit.
Pack items tightly so they cannot shift during shipping. Bubble wrap, packing paper, or shipping peanuts may be used if desired, but are generally optional when the box is packed properly and the contents are secured. Once packed, simply seal the box with quality packing tape and ship it through UPS at your local UPS Store. Using the recommended box helps ensure your collection arrives safely and allows me to process and evaluate your items more quickly upon arrival.
Important: Please include photographs and a detailed inventory spreadsheet before shipping any collection so I can review the contents and provide preliminary feedback before you incur shipping costs.
